The Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) Board of Directors is scheduled to meet from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26. The focus topic for this meeting is the 2023 Final Audit Report to be delivered by Forvis LLP’s Tammy Rivera.
The meeting is held in-person at the Shavano Conference Room at the main hospital campus in Salida (1000 Rush Drive). Those interested in attending can join virtually with this Zoom link with Meeting ID 874 1572 1857 and Passcode 585306.
Standard reports are expected from Chief of Staff Joshua Visitacion, M.D. Chief Financial Officer Karen Miller, and CEO Bob Morasko. Committee reports are expected by Stacey Osborn on the Finance Committee, Bill Alderton on the Facilities and Strategic Planning Committee, and Lezlie Burkley on the Foundation Report.
No old or new business is listed on the agenda.
Members of the public who wish to provide comment need to register at the start of the meeting and limit their commentary to three minutes.
The consent agenda includes approval of the February 27 minutes of the HRRMC Board alongside the following capital purchase requests:
- Two hosts for virtual infrastructure at $34,150.
- A general surgery gamma finder at $34,700.
- A remodel for the Buena Vista Health Clinic (BVHC) at $172,080.
- New flooring for the second floor at just over $202,508.
- Two-bay reception in the main lobby at $52,312.
- Funds for the Delnay Guest House at $2,484,336
- And a nondisclosed amount “NDA” for a urology aquablation robot –
These requests all together total more than $2,980,000.
The Board will adjourn to executive session to discuss risk management and grievance reports, real property negotiations, provider agreements, and personnel.
