Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort will hold the “Great Santa Soak” event at the resort from 12 Noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Dec. 8 at the new family relaxation pool on the upper grounds. The jolly old man himself will stop by to greet families enjoying the hot springs. Whether or not he chooses to take a hot soak remains to be seen. He might just stay in his furry red suit.
The resort, which is a member of the Buena Vista Chamber of Commerce, is located at 15870 County Rd 162, Nathrop. Admission for the day is $15 and the first 150 people to arrive will also receive a free Santa Hat. (Admission is free for visitors staying at the resort.)
From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7, the resort is offering discount punch pass purchases to Chaffee County residents at the Buena Vista Community Center. Those hoping to take a hot springs soak on a more regular basis can stop by the west entrance to purchase a Mt. Princeton Hot Spring Punch Pass.
