The program, being presented by the nonprofit of the same name focuses on informing and protecting kids from the impacts of today’s, far more potent marijuana. As they point out, what is being sold today is far stronger than the “weed” of kids’ parents or grandparents’ days. That can mean that children as young as middle school can get in over their heads before they realize it.

The presentation, focusing on marijuana products, potency, and protections for kids, will be made by Julie Dreifaldt, who is the community relations and donor liaison for One Chance to Grow Up. She serves on the Cherry Creek Schools Parent Information Network (PIN) and the Community Vaping Prevention Roundtable.
