The Salida City Council (SCC) will be holding both their work session and their regularly scheduled meeting starting at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, because of the Labor Day holiday. The meetings will be held in Council chambers at the Touber Building, 440 E. First Street.
The work session will feature a report from the Extraordinary Teen Council, as well as the Chaffee Shuttle.
On the agenda for the regular meeting are approvals for 2023 Concrete and Asphalt Maintenance Projects, a proclamation for Hispanic Month, and consideration of two Resolutions, 2023-37 and 2023-38.
The first resolution covers an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the City and the School District, for a School Resource Officer, and the second IGA is between the City, the County, and the Town of Buena Vista for paying the Sheriff’s Department for a SWAT Team.
Agendas and packets for the work session and the meeting are available here. Remote access through the City’s YouTube Channel is available here.
