The City of Salida has just announced that key City facilities will be closed today.
Due to inclement weather, Salida City Hall, Salida Hot Springs Aquatic Center and the SteamPlant are closed for in-person service today, March 14, 2024. Salida Fire Department and Police Department will remain open.
“This action is taken out of an abundance of caution and to focus our emergency services on those most in need. Public safety employees are reporting for duty and are prepared to keep our community safe”, said City Administrator Christy Doon.
City officials recommend that residents plan for safe traveling in these conditions and check the City of Salida website and City of Salida, Colorado Facebook page for additional information.
