Fireworks are Scheduled — so are Road Closures
Mark calendars now for some fun in the sky on the 4th of July, courtesy of the City of Salida Fire Department. This year, they have scheduled a full fireworks display on Tuesday, July 4 in honor of Independence Day.
With safety a priority for all involved, there are road closures to be obeyed– and Salida Fire thanks all in advance for their consideration and patience with closures.
- Spiral Drive on Tenderfoot Mountain will be closed at the gate to ALL traffic—vehicle, bike, walking, etc. on July 4th. as the fireworks are being placed.
- All biking trails crossing Spiral Drive on Tenderfoot will be closed as well to ensure the safety of all involved.
The fireworks will commence at 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 4.
Individuals that are sensitive to loud noises, or people with pets who are afraid of loud noises, should prepare accordingly.
