The message from Salida High School to the community this week is — “Mark your calendars and help us Pack the Place in Pink!”
The sports scheduled for this week are dedicated to supporting the the fight against breast cancer.
All Spartan sports event attendees and students are encouraged to wear all-pink to the following Spartan activities. By doing so, you’re not just helping in the fight against breast cancer, but doing so will enter you in the raffle to win a Badfish River Rat Board. Remember — you MUST be present to win.
This is the sports schedule:
Volleyball games — October 19 JV volleyball starts at 4:30 p.m. — The raffle will be held between the JV and Varsity games.
Football Game – October 20 at 7:00 p.m. The raffle will be held during the halftime show.
So, pull out your pink socks, pull on your pink hat, or your pink tutu, and help the Spartan Sports teams defeat breast cancer. Don’t forget — you must be present for the raffles to win.
