Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) welcomed board-certified Family Medicine physician Sarah Porter, M.D., to its medical staff at the end of September.

Dr. Porter will see patients at the HRRMC Salida Health Center at 550 West U.S. 50. She is joining HRRMC from Nampa Midland St. Luke’s Clinic in Nampa Idaho where she worked as a family medicine provider since 2016.

“We continue to see such an increased need for family medicine and primary care providers in our area as our county grows,” explains HRRMC CEO Bob Morasko. “Dr. Porter is already an asset to our clinic team, and we are looking forward to seeing her connect with patients of all ages and backgrounds to offer them the best care and treatment possible.”

Porter graduated with honors, earned her medical degree, and received the Edward T. Mulligan Memorial Award from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York.

She completed her residency in Family Medicine in Rochester as well at the University of Rochester Family Medicine.
