Watchhouse, Bella White, and Rising Appalachia are closing out the Surf Hotel’s summer concert series Labor Day Weekend in Buena Vista September 2 and September 4. Comedian April Macie is set to bring laughs to the Ivy Ballroom on September 10 following the end of the summer concert series.

General admission is $60 and all ages are welcome. Kids twelve and under are free. Tickets are available online.

Americana/folk duo Watchhouse (formerly known as Mandolin Orange) will make their debut performance on The LAWN. Supporting Watchhouse is singer and songwriter Bella White. The Box Office opens at 5:00 p.m. and doors open at 6:00 p.m. White will perform at 7:00  and Watchhouse will go on at 8:00 p.m.

General admission is $55. Kids twelve and under are free. Tickets are available online.

This Labor Day event welcomes back folk music group Rising Appalachia led by sisters Leah Song and Chloe Smith. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $40 and are available for those eighteen and older only. The Box Office opens at 6:30 p.m. Doors open at 7:oo p.m. The show will begin at 8:00 p.m.

Macie was a finalist on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” in 2006. She has appeared on E! Entertainment, Sirius and XM Radio, Access Hollywood, Talk Soup, and HLN. Macie also appeared on the Howard Stern show where in 2008 she was voted the “Funniest and Hottest” comedian in America. She is a regular guest on the Bob and Tom radio show she has appeared on Showtime’s I Am Comic, Vegas Is My Oyster, Snoop Dogg’s: Bad Girls of Comedy, and was the host of the AVN Awards. She has also appeared on Comedy Underground with Dave Attell on Comedy Central and Jenny McCarthy’s Dirty Sexy Funny on A&E and gave a TEDx talk on turning pain into humor. She currently travels internationally as a headlining stand-up comedian and features on the Netflix series Tiffany Haddish Presents: They Ready

Illinois Comedian Edgar Sandoval is opening for Macie. His comedy centers around family, a twenty-plus year marriage, and being a second generation Asian-American. He opens for nationally touring headliners at clubs and theaters around the country and participated in last fall’s Charlie Berens’ Midwest Survival Guide Tour.
