The Crest Academy moved to remote learning on January 27 due to an unknown exposure to COVID-19. After conducting contact tracing and an investigation the school will return to in-person learning on January 28. All known risks have been identified and addressed. The district apologized for the short notice on the morning of the 27th.

School administration reacted quickly, and notified parents as soon as the information was known. Crest Academy staff thanks parents, students and the community for its resilience.

The Crest Academy is a small, non-traditional public school in Salida designed to meet the unique needs of middle school students. They work to maintain an experience that will harness natural curiosity and guide students to explore personal interests within a safe space.
