Cole Wiedel, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) and will begin providing full-time urology services at the HRRMC Outpatient Pavilion beginning on August 25.

“We are happy to have Dr. Wiedel join our medical staff and provide full-time urology services to our community,” said HRRMC CEO Bob Morasko. “Dr. Wiedel will offer a variety of urological services to men, women, and children, and is a valuable addition to our urology clinic.”

A Colorado native, Dr. Wiedel earned his medical degree and completed his residency in urologic surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, CO. His practice will include men’s health, treatment of prostate and bladder conditions, kidney stones, incontinence, urologic cancers, and pediatric urology.

Additionally, Dr. Wiedel will collaborate with HRRMC gynecologist Dr. Tiffany Rhodes to offer urogynecology services in the foreseeable future. Urogynecology is a sub-specialty of gynecology, focused on treating pelvic floor disorders in women.

“I have always wanted to practice in a rural setting, and I am excited to offer consistent and full-spectrum urologic services for all ages,” said Dr. Wiedel.
