Starting at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, the Albert Castiglia Band will be playing at The Lariat in Buena Vista.

“It may be a bit premature to crown Albert Castiglia America’s newest King of the Blues, but there’s little doubt that he at least deserves the title of heir apparent,” stated the Miami New Times.

Albert Castiglia won Blues Rock Album (I Got Love) and Blues Rock Artist at the 2023 Blues Music Awards  Castiglia has been keeping busy on tour with his latest project Blood Brothers, featuring Mike Zito.

Albert Castiglia was raised in Miami and apprenticed to blues musician Junior Wells. He later worked with singer Sandra Hall. His solo career has yielded many critically-acclaimed albums and Miami New Times called him South Florida’s “Best Blues Guitarist.”

USA Today said, “It’s a revelation to discover the thrilling retro-electric blues from this astonishing young guitarist.”

M Music & Musicians said, “His back-to-basics approach follows in the footsteps of those who fostered the blues in the Mississippi Delta and the smoky late-night haunts of Chicago.”
