The Buena Vista Board of Education is set to meet at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 9 at 113 North Court Street. Up for discussion and action during this meeting are the board meeting by-laws and District Accountability Committee (DAC) membership.
Communication reports will include the Principal Showcase: Creative, director reports, the superintendent report, and board reports on the Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES), the DAC, and the elementary/preschool campus committee.
The consent agenda contains the usual approval of contracts, notifications of employment or resignation, and the September Financials Report.
There will also be monitoring reports on leadership and vision, delegation to the superintendent, and the president’s role.
According to the agenda, “The Board of Education may move into Executive Session for reasons allowable pursuant Colo. Rev Stat. 24-6-402 (4).”
The Board’s next meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. on Monday, October 23. The business meeting will be preceded by a linkage with the Economic Development Corporation (EDC) at 5:00 p.m.
