The BoCC will also review the 2023 grant cycle funding recommendations from the Marijuana Excise Tax Advisory Board (METAB) 2023 revenues grant cycle, and move on to a discussion regarding the  Department of Water Resources Division 2 Staff regarding a futile call determination.

Also on the agenda, is a review of contractor proposals and selection of a firm to fulfill consultant services for the Chaffee County Landfill, as well as consideration of a request from GARNA for a waiver of landfill fees for its annual Green-Up Clean-Up event. The BoCC will also be asked to provide a letter of support for the Places to Age working group for their Congressionally-directed spending application.

Two public hearings are on the agenda:

  • The public hearing continued from March 5, 2024, regarding a one-time Special Event Permit for a mid-September concert at The Meadows by Meadow Creek LLC.
  • A request to transfer a Colorado Liquor Retail from Turnip the Beet LLC, DBA Robin’s to Butter Together LLC, DBA Robin’s at 8046 Hwy 50, Salida

The BoCC will end the meeting by going into Executive Session pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(b) to receive legal advice on specific legal questions on Chaffee Housing Authority funding.
