Chaffee Emergency Management asks Residents to sign up for Emergency Notifications

With the Decker Fire advancing on parts of Methodist Mountain, the Chaffee Office of Emergency Mgmt. is asking that residents sign up for Everbridge, the county’s reverse communications system. Everbridge is designed to provide up-to-date information in cases of road closures, detours and evacuations for emergencies. Registering with Everbridge means that alert messaging can go to mobile phones, not just land lines, so that wherever you are, you can receive a reverse message alerting you to the situation.
