Envision Chaffee County has posted its Envision poll results on the Central Colorado Conservancy website, http://centralcoloradoconservancy.org/envision-chaffee-county/.
“People can see the results online, and we’ll be sharing stories about the Envision process and the needs with Ark Valley Voice and through our Envision newsletter,” said Central Colorado Conservancy Board President Cindy Williams.
The results of the poll, conducted in July, were discussed at the Aug. 13 county commissioners’ work session. The result of the county’s year-long Envision process will likely lead to a November ballot question. Commissioners indicated that because of the poll results, they will consider moving toward the development of an election ballot to support a combined funding measure for forest health, fire mitigation, water quality, rural landscapes and management of recreation impacts.
