Poetry Live at the Paquette returns to the SteamPlant Event Center from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 3. The seasonal poetry gathering, A Feast of Words, will feature a dozen local and regional poets reading from their original works. The poetry reading will be followed by an open mic.

This is a free community event, and everyone is welcome. Donations will be accepted to support future poetry events.

Signups for the round robin style open mic will start at 6:15 p.m. Poets may read one short poem per turn. The poem should be no longer than one page. If time allows, anyone hoping to read is encouraged to bring more than one poem to read on a second turn.

Books by the featured poets will be available for purchase. A cash bar will be provided by the SteamPlant.
