Senator Michael Bennet is inviting members of the public to attend a meet and greet from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26 at The Boathouse (228 North F Street) in Salida. The event is hosted by Chaffee County Democrats.

Those hoping to attend can RSVP online here. Attendees can choose to RSVP for free or to provide a grassroots supporter donation of $25, $50, or $100. Donations benefit Michael Bennet.

This will be the second political Meet and Greet in Salida for the week as County Commissioner candidate Gina Lucrezi is holding an event from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24 at Wood’s High Mountain Distillery (144 West First Street).

Attendees will get the chance to meet the candidate, have drinks, eat snacks, socialize, and get involved with Lucrezi’s campaign. Lucrezi is currently serving on the Board of Trustees for the Town of Buena Vista and recently handed the title of Mayor Pro Tem of Buena Vista to fellow trustee Devin Rowe.
