Looking or something new to read? The Salida Library Spring Book Sale is set for 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., this Saturday May 4 at 405 E Street, Salida.
Library patrons and volunteers have been gathering materials for months and now it’s time for someone else’s gently used treasures to find a new home. The bi-annual book sale is volunteer-driven and an important way to benefit the library.
Typically, the price structure for the opening hours of a book sale is as follows:
Hardcover books – $2.00
Mass market paperbacks – $0.50
CDs & DVDs – $1.00 (when available)
6 Mass market paperbacks – $1.00
Marked sets of books – As marked
Antique / special books (when available) – As marked
While the best selection is available early, prices are slashed a few hours into the sale for those looking to maximize their purchases.
Every dollar benefits the library.
