As in 2021,the street will be closed to traffic from Sackett southward to the mid-200 block of F St., starting the morning of Wednesday, May 25 through much of the summer.

Business owners seeking to use space within the closure should fill out a City of Salida Application, remit a conceptual site plan, and return the signed Revocable License Agreement to the Clerk’s Office at 448 East First Street or via email to deputyclerk@cityofsalida.com.

“We recommend business owners submit their plans five to seven days prior to wanting to expand onto the street,” says Sara Law, Deputy City Clerk for Salida.

The city also encourages businesses to work with their neighbors to identify creative and potentially collaborative ways to operate. Any questions can be directed to City Hall, 719-530-2632.
