Renowned acoustic extraordinaries Brett Dennen and John Craigie are ringing in the 6th Annual Lift Series at the Ivy Ballroom inside the Surf Hotel on Saturday, February 11, 2023.
The local favorite annual event features acoustic guitar-driven music celebrating skiing, music, and mountain communities. Originally started by Dennen in 2017, Lift Series is a traveling musical movement focused on visiting ski towns and sharing stories from beyond the ski lift.
Originally from California, Dennen has been compared to everyone from Jack White to Bob Dylan and continues to peddle his unique and authentic brand of acoustic folk rock across the country for the better part of two decades.
Dennen has supported the likes of the John Mayer Trio, Rodrigo y Gabriella, and is currently touring with Guster. In 2007, Dennen was featured in Rolling Stone Magazine as one of their “Top 10 Artists to Watch”.
