Applications for the Angel of Mount Shavano Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3820 College scholarship are now being accepted.
Open to all Cotopaxi High School and Salida High School students graduating in 2020, the Angel of Mount Shavano Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3820 will award three scholarships this year. Each will be for $1,000. The Ted and Helen Argys Memorial Scholarship will not be available in 2020.

This year’s application process will be different, as students must send completed applications via email to VFW3820@gmail.com or mail them to VFW Post 3820, P.O. Box 1103, Salida, Colorado 81201, no later than Wednesday, May 6, 2020. After evaluation, the winners will be notified, and a public announcement will be made.
