Colorado U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet’s office has scheduled a listening session in Salida for Tuesday, July 31, from 10 a.m. to noon to give locals the opportunity to meet with a member of his Colorado staff. The session will be held in the Tenderfoot Hill Conference Room in Salida’s Touber Building, 448 E. First St.
Erin Minks, a Bennet representative for this region, will meet one-on-one with those with questions or needing help dealing with the Department of Veterans Affairs, IRS, Social Security Administration or other federal agencies. “We’re also interested in suggestions for Congress that will help your family or community,” said Bennet’s press secretary, Laurie Cipriano.
