Democratic attorney general nominee Phil Weiser will share his vision for Colorado and the impact of the attorney general’s office in Colorado on Wednesday, Aug, 1, from noon to 1 p.m. at a campaign stop at 50 Burger Shake & Beer, 445 E. U.S. Highway 50 in Salida.
Those planning to attend should RSVP via email to paola.philforag@gmail.com. The event is a campaign stop, so the campaign says that donations will be accepted, but not required.
According to Colorado campaign finance law, campaign donations are limited to $1,150 for the elections, to be made only by U.S. citizens who are eligible to contribute under Colorado law. Contributions for lobbyists are prohibited during the regular session of the Colorado General Assembly and for 30 days after the end of the session. Contributions are not tax deductible, and cash contributions are limited to $100.
