The Chaffee Board of County  Commissioners (BoCC) will meet in regular session beginning at 9:00 a.m. April 2 in the commissioner’s meeting room at 104 Crestone Avenue, Salida.

The agenda appears to be a light one, including approval of a proclamation declaring April 2-8, 2024 Dark Sky Week in Chaffee County, followed by review of a “Together We Stand” Project Resolution

The BoCC will ratify a letter of support for Historic St. Elmo’s Grant Application for the Rehabilitation of the Morley Railroad Bridge at Romley, followed by their ratification of a more than $162,000 sole source contract with United Roofing of Colorado for roof replacement at 148 Crestone Avenue.

The BoCC will move on to consider a request from the City of Salida, Salida Sustainability Committee for contribution to the Scout Hut water bottle filling station project, and wrap up their meeting with a Land Use Code Update with Consultant Todd Messenger from Fairfield & Woods.
