The Chaffee County Health Coalition (CCHC) has announced that it is seeking individuals and organizations with an interest in local issues related to health and wellness to join its efforts to improve accessibility, affordability, and quality of health in Chaffee County.

The Health Coalition has been collaborating and coordinating since 2013 to promote health and wellness-focused initiatives and projects across Chaffee County.

CCHC meets every other month for a free lunch, networking, presentations, community health and wellness updates, and conversation on a wide range of topics related to health. CCHC includes representatives from numerous health and wellness sectors, including medical and mental health providers, public health, human services, addiction and recovery, senior services, youth services and more.

The next meeting of the Chaffee County Health Coalition is scheduled for Thursday, August 12, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Salida.
