The Chaffee County Democrats have put out an invitation for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, September 28th for the public to attend a special two-part program.

The program will begin with the Director of the Buena Vista Public Library Cecelia LaFrance, discussing the Buena Vista Library’s expansion plans. The funding vehicle will be the upcoming Ballot Initiative-6A.
Also joining the Chaffee Democrats will be Deputy County Administrator Beth Helmke, who will review the four million dollar EPA grant awarded to Chaffee County for a recycling and waste diversion facility.
The meeting will be held in the community room at Sangre de Cristo Electric Association on U.S. 24 on the north end of Buena Vista.
