Ark-Valley Humane Society (AVHS) has announced its 8th Annual Feline & Fido Photo Contest & Calendar, returning this year, from Monday, Oct. 23 through Friday, Nov. 3.

“We’re excited to be hosting another Fall Feline and Fido Photo contest. This year there will be a special spooky promotion on Halloween!” said AVHS Outreach Manager Emy Nettleblad.

Anyone can enter their photos at www.gogophotocontest.com/avhs. It costs $5 per photo submission and $1 to vote (with a $5 minimum). Once a person has entered their pet’s photo, they can share the contest with family and friends to garner more votes.

The contestant with the most votes will have their photo featured on the cover of the 2024 AVHS Calendar. Each of the top 12 photos with the most votes will be a featured pet photo for one of the twelve months. All photos submitted will be featured in smaller photos throughout the calendar.
