Wednesday November 11, Longfellow Elementary school will be in remote learning mode due to an identified positive COVID-19 case. The district will spend the day conducting contact tracing with local public health. All other district buildings are scheduled for in person learning.

Superintendent David Blackburn said during the November 10 School Board meeting “One thing is, I’m just sad. I was hoping to get a little deeper towards Thanksgiving. Early Childhood center has two classrooms in quarantine but all other programs are still in person and all other buildings are in person tomorrow. The positive is that in a half hour I can take all of Longfellow and all the staff and all the parents and flip it. That’s amazing that we can do that.”
