Chaffee Arts is accepting registrations for the 2023 Open Awards Show now through July 24. The show runs from Sept. 1 to Sept. 4 and there is an opening reception from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on September 1.

The show categories include: Oil, Watercolor, Acrylic, Pastels/Drawing, Printmaking, Photography, Mixed Media 2D/3D, Jewelry, Glass, Ceramics, Sculpture (Wood/Metal), and Fiber.
Prizes:
- $100 to each first-place winner in every category
- $100 Judges Award
- $200 People’s Choice Award
- $300 Best in Show Award
Artists are required to join Chaffee Arts or renew their membership in order to complete the show registration. Additional guidelines for artists interested in entering the show are here.

July 15-16 events
Art patrons may find further information about “A Buena Vista Art Legacy” – Collection of Grant Heilman and Conrad Nelson Fundraiser Art Auction here. The preview, auction and fine art sale will be held at the Buena Vista Heritage Museum, 506 East Main Street.
Chaffee Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a long history in Buena Vista.
