The Salida City Council (SCC) will be holding a work session at 6:00 p.m. this evening, Monday, April 15, in Council Chambers at the Touber Building, 448 E. First Street.

They will then adjourn immediately to take a field trip to the Scout Wave in Riverside Park. The group will get a first-hand report from Mike Harvey of Recreation Engineering and Planning, and Diesel Post from the Department of Parks and Recreation.

Any interested community members are welcome to meet at the Scout Wave and listen to the reports.

After the trip to the Scout Wave, the SCC will return to Council Chambers and discuss the next two items on the agenda: a report from Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) on methods of deer population control within the city limits.

Finally, they will hear Inclusionary Housing (IH) legal synopses and seek policy directives from Council for City staff.

A complete agenda and packet can be found here. Instructions for remote access can be found here.
