It might be July, but it’s not too late to start a garden.

The City of Salida has partnered with Guidestone to manage a community garden space that provides a collaborative environment for community members.
Gardeners will participate in sustainable agricultural practices, learn about the importance of local food systems and build a greater sense of community together.
There are a handful of garden plots still available. This is a pilot program and participation is free this year. Participants must be at least 18 years old to register; additional details and instructions will be emailed after registration.
The garden is located at 112 Crestone Mesa Drive, Salida, CO 81201 and is open until November 1, 2021.
