Salida Family Health has announced that it will be joining the Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center (HRRMC) and will be relocating its offices to the HRRMC Medical Clinics building at 550 U.S. 50 in Salida. In making the move, HRRMC will take over management of the clinic.
The current location at 320 1st St. will remain in operation through Sept. 27. It will formally reopen on Oct. 3 in the new location. The clinic will be transitioning to a new computer system, which means that all insurance and financial information will need to be re-entered. All patient medical records will be transferred to the new system, and will be available for any patients requesting medical records.
All physicians currently associated with Salida Family Health are making the transition, including Doctors James Wigington, Stephanie Earhart, Ashley O’Hara and Vanna Irving. The new phone contact as of Sept. 27 will 719-530-2000.
In making the announcement, Salida Family Health points out that the newer facility will allow for easier access for its patients and improved parking accessibility. In addition Dr. O’Hara and Dr. Wigington will continue to see patients in the Saguache and Cotopaxi clinics.
