There will be a two-hour intermission before live music by Fred & Tom on the Buena Viking Patio from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The evening will be capped off with a “BV Fancy” dance party and Cabana Boy Competition at CKS from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

CKS River Supply and the Shorehouse Hotel are located at 426 East Main Street. The Shorehouse features four themed suites, each featuring work by different local artists.

“I have chosen four women artists from Chaffee County who inspire me in their personal lives, their approach to life, and their passions. Each room is designed to mimic the artist’s style,” stated Megan Kingman.

The Throne Room sleeps seven and features artwork by Darcie Smith. Smith is a Colorado native who lives in Buena Vista. Her art reflects a connection to nature and a passion for travel.

Layover Day sleeps three and features artwork by Brynn Ronning. Ronning lives in Buena Vista with her husband Eddie Sandoval and their two children Tala and Sy. Their family is known for the local business, The Asian Palate, which is a Thai and sushi restaurant and catering and special events business that has been in Buena Vista since 2008.

“My family and artist name is Ronning, which translates to a clearing in the woods in Norwegian. My married name is Sandoval, which also translates to a clearing in woods, which I am just so fascinated by,” states Ronning in her bio on the Shorehouse’s website.

Daisy Chain sleeps two and features work by Lindsay Sutton-Stephens. Sutton-Stephens has been creating “other art” and living in Salida for eighteen years. Originally from the Southeast, she draws inspiration from her roots and southern Colorado.

The Magpie Room sleeps four and features artwork by Jennie Noreen Omasta. Omasta studied printmaking at the University of Puget Sound but has spent most of her life in the mountains of Colorado. She took over ownership of Rock Run Gallery in Buena Vista in October of 2021.
