Summer is coming – and the Buena Vista Public Library (BVPL) is ready for “an Ocean full of fun”! The library’s June and July calendars are full of fun events for individuals and families of all ages.

What do science, sharks, and the circus have in common? The Buena Vista Public Library. The library will be hosting its annual Summer Reading Program from June through August 13. Participants can register online, then pick up logbooks and starter gifts at the Library. Readers can earn rewards from sponsoring businesses. The program is open to all ages! 

June Highlights – Salida Circus Kickoff, Science, and Sharks

Check out the library’s kickoff party with the Salida Circus! The event will be hosted at the River Park Pavilion in Buena Vista. 

Main Street Walking Tour (Adults)

Meet at the Library
Explore BV’s historic landmarks and businesses on this 90-minute tour with local historian Suzy Kelly. The tour will start at the BVPL.
