The annual BV Strong dinner has become a community tradition. The tenth annual BV Strong Community Dinner is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18.
BV Strong t-shirts are available for purchase until Monday, September 4. A local vendor provides the shirts below cost, and all of the proceeds cover expenses for the community dinner, such as tables and chairs.
The 2023 tee is available in youth and adult sizes with short and long-sleeve options. Sizes small to extra large are available for youth sizing and small to triple extra large for adult sizing.
Shirts cost $18 for youth, $20 to $23 for adult short sleeves, and $25 to $27 for adult long sleeves. Shirts can be ordered online.

Orders will be available for pick up at the old Police Station, 713 East Main (Town Hall East):
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 13
10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, September 14
8:00 a.m. to Noon Monday, September 18
The sale is ending at 11:59 p.m. Monday, September 4 to allow time for ordering and printing. No additional shirts will be printed and no late orders are accepted.
According to BV Strong, the cost of table and chair rental and insurance has increased by sixty percent over the last two years. The dinner is free to attend, but donations are encouraged. There is a suggested donation of $5 per person or $40 per table for those participating in the event.
Tables can seat up to eight guests. It is the Table Hosts’ responsibility to welcome guests and provide place settings and food.
BV Strong is also looking for thirty volunteers at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 18 to assist with set up for the community dinner. At 7:00 p.m. after the dinner concludes, they are looking for volunteers to stack chairs and tables and help with general clean up.
