February 13 Chaffee County Democrats Reorganization Meeting
Every odd year, the Democratic party goes through reorganization at the County, District, and State levels. The reorganization meeting for the Chaffee County Democrats will be held at 7:30 p.m. tonight, Monday, February 13, at the Salida Scout Hut, 210 East Sackett Ave, Salida, CO.

To run for county office, you must be a registered Democrat. During the reorganization meeting, Democrats will be selecting a Chair, Vice-Chair, 2nd Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer.
In addition, they will select Bonus members for the State Central Committee, JD 11, CD 7, HD 13, SD 4, and HD 60. Bonus members represent our County at the State level. Meetings for Bonus members are only a few times per year and all except the State Central Committee are Virtual meetings. This is a great opportunity for our community to be heard!

“Beers with Brittany” event coming up in Salida
Mark your calendar for “Beers with Brittany” at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 23 at the Boathouse in Salida. The newly elected Congresswoman for our region will visit with community members and provide updates on the happenings of the 118th Congress.
