The Chaffee County Clerk and Recorder’s Office has received a total of 3,069 ballots back for the upcoming Colorado Primary Election.

Chaffee Registered Voters:

# of Registered Democrats as of today              3,947

In addition to the Chaffee County Administration Building at 104 Crestone in Salida and the county’s Buena Vista Annex in Buena Vista, it opened a voter center at the Scout Hut Vote Center, which on Tuesday issued only mail ballots and has had no in-person voters.

Voters should be aware that it is too late to put their ballot in the mail because it might not reach the Chaffee Clerk and Recorder’s Office on time. Voters should use one of the secure ballot drop-off locations listed in their ballot instructions. Ballots must be received by the Chaffee Clerk and Recorder’s office by 7:00 p.m. on June 28, which is Primary Election Day. Postmarks do not count.
