A men’s health class designed for men as they age, or who are recovering from medical conditions such as prostate cancer will be hosted by Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center beginning Feb. 13.

The class will be a five-week exercise and education series, held each Wednesday from 11 a.m. to noon at the HRRMC Wellness U Gym at 1548 G St., Salida.

The series will focus on men’s pelvic issues, including mobility and stability, bladder and bowel function as well as sexual health. Topics covered in the class will include breathing techniques, sexual health, cardio health, nutrition and Tai Chi exercise.

The instructors are Lydia Segal, M.D., M.P.H., and pelvic health physical therapists from HRRMC.
