The Partnership for Community Action (PfCA) will host its annual Queer Community Dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19.  Organizers say “this community potluck is open to all ages and includes entertainment, music, poetry, and activities.”

The meal will be held at Salida United Methodist Church, located at 228 East 4th Street in Salida.

Schedule:

5:30 p.m. – Doors Open – all are welcome to come early and help set up

6:00 p.m. Community Share – Community announcements

6:15 p.m. Dinner – buffet style

The PfCA will have Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, and a Vegan Roast. Guests are asked to please bring what they love to eat so all can share! Cups, plates, utensils, ice, and drinks will also be provided.

The organizers note that LGBTQ+ people, their families, and their allies are always welcome. This event is drug, alcohol, tobacco, and hate-free

Salida Methodist Church is an accessible facility and if participants have specific needs, they’re asked to please share them in advance so the hosts can do their best to accommodate them. The PfCA is grateful to the church for providing this welcoming space.

The Partnership for Community Action  (PfCA) provides many community services including education, programs, Safe Spaces, business advocacy, and crisis response. “As a fundamental part of the cultural landscape of rural Colorado, we work as teachers, ministers, small business owners, elected officials, healthcare providers, and parents.”
