There will be a joint public hearing of the Poncha Springs Board of Trustees and the Planning and Zoning Committee at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 29. On the agenda for the joint session is a review of the Preliminary Plat for a proposed Minor Subdivision of a 4.9-acre lot owned by the Harder-Diesslin Development Group, Inc. The lot is located on the west side of Halley’s Ave., north of CR120 and south of Monarch Crossing. The plan calls for the lot to be divided so as to construct 4 townhouses on one lot and 10 townhouses on the other, for a total of 14. Also on the agenda for the joint public hearing is the consideration of two short-term rental requests, for 601 and 650 Hoover Circle, respectively. The preliminary plat can be viewed at the Town Hall prior to the public hearing.

The joint meeting will be followed by a regular meeting of the Poncha Springs Board of Trustees. The major item on the agenda is the approval of the 2017 audit.

The joint session and the Board of Trustees meeting will be at the Poncha Springs Town Hall’s meeting room and is open to the public. For more information, contact Town Administrator Brian Berger at 539-6882.
