There are still spots available for Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center’s 10th annual Women’s Health Day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Salida’s SteamPlant Event Center.

Attendees may choose between eight sessions throughout the day on topics ranging from “Making Sense of Supplements” and “Gluten Sensitivity” to “Backcountry First Aid” and “Sex and Women: A Roadmap to Intimacy.” Attendees may attend as many or as few sessions as they like.

Angela Gaffney, a certified health coach and author, will give this year’s keynote talk. After suffering a potentially fatal health crisis, Gaffney became an advocate of “owning” your health and shares simple, effective strategies to achieve lifelong health.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 17. To register, go to hrrmc.com and click on the Women’s Health Day button on the home page. The $25 cost includes a lunch catered by Michelle Gapp. Scholarships are available by calling 719-530-2217.
