The Salida Chamber of Commerce invites the public to a free workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Wednesday, January 24 at the Salida Scout Hut. Alchemy Strategy Group Founder and CEO Lois Todd will lead the workshop. It will explore strategic plans that are “simple, actionable, measurable, and visual” and how they can be “steered dynamically and produce massive results.”

Those looking to pursue new business ideas or those hoping to refresh an existing business are the audience for this free workshop.

Space is limited in the workshop, so those interested in attending should RSVP online here. There will be a light, catered breakfast.

Todd grew up and lives in Denver but visits the mountains frequently, especially to go skiing. Her accolades include finalist for “Outstanding Woman in Business” from the Denver Business Journal, “Woman Leader of Excellence” from the Colorado Women’s Leadership Coalition, and “Woman of Achievement” from Women in Communications.

The goal of the workshop is that participants will leave with a visual template for their 2024 strategic action plan, a better understanding of their strategy, and a “renewed energy” to focus on their business goals and visions in 2024.

Other goals include:

  • Clarity on outperforming past milestones using a core strategy.
  • Creating a clear business vision by assessing values and mission.
  • Understanding how to lower costs and increase value.
  • Creating a visual plan.

Participants will also get the chance to network with others in the community who participate in the workshop.

This opportunity is presented by Heart of the Rockies Chamber of Commerce and Alchemy Strategy and made possible with the help of the Central Mountain Small Business Development Center (CMSBDC).

More information on the workshop is available on the Salida Chamber’s website here.
