Salida Council for the Arts to Host Creative Mixer and Opening Reception for Villa Grove Artist Guild

The Salida Council for the Arts will host their creative mixer as well as an opening reception from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on August 12 at the SteamPlant. The opening reception will be held for the Villa Grove Artist Guild. Admission is free.

This month’s mixer will also feature live music by Chris Nasca. The reception will be held outdoors, and face coverings must be worn in the gallery.

Artists are encouraged to attend and meet like-minded people to share news and be inspired by the energy that makes Salida a center of support and creative expression. Participants are encouraged to bring their “Soap Box” announcement to share.
