With the sudden and dramatic rise of COVID due to the Omicron variant in Chaffee County, the Salida Council for the Arts has canceled the January Creative Mixer as a safety precaution. The next Creative Mixer would be due in March. Organizers ask that those interested in upcoming events and current art shows check its Facebook page or its web page.
The Salida Council for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Its mission is to enrich the cultural life of our community by nurturing and supporting the arts; to increase the community’s awareness of and appreciation for the arts; to promote and encourage arts education; and to serve as a liaison between the arts, business, government, and educational institutions.
