After the early snowstorm last week that dropped moisture-laden snow more similar to late spring storms , City of Salida public works crews and contractors are still working to complete the clean-up of city streets from downed trees and limbs. Once limbs have been collected from specific streets,  the city reminds community members that they are responsible for the removal or disposal of any new debris.

According to a release from the city hopes that this represents an opportunity for the community to work together to help the community look even better than before the early snowstorm.

A large pile of wood chippings remains free to the public and is located at the t-ball field parking lot adjacent to Sackett Ave and M Street.
