Governor Leads Colorado Mask Campaign, Donors and Sewing Groups Swing into Action
Colorado Governor Jared Polis announced a state-wide campaign on Friday afternoon to encouraging Coloradans to wear non-medical cloth face coverings when leaving the home for essential business, as the coronoavirus pandemic known as COVID-19 continues to spread. The announcement hinges on state and local level production of face masks; a home-grown effort that will reach all the way down to local sewing groups and people everywhere with sewing machines.
