The National Audubon Society will host a webinar at 6 p.m. July 8, highlighting the changes being made to The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (COGCC). The COGCC approves drilling permits and regulates oil and gas.

Currently, the state board is undergoing changes that may have an impact on Colorado’s wildlife.

The National Audubon Society is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to conservation. The organization was incorporated in 1905 in the United States.

Audubon is one of the oldest of such organizations in the world, using the sciences, education, and grassroots advocacy to advance its conservation mission.

This online webinar will allow people to gain insider knowledge on the impacts on Colorado wildlife of oil and gas drilling, from local experts. The Audubon has organized the event with other conservation and hunting/angling groups.
