If approved the festival would be held September. 3-7, 2020. The public hearing was continued from the commissioners’ December 17, 2019 meeting.

Also on the agenda, which begins at 10:30 a.m., is consideration of a moratorium within the Salida Airport Overlay District on applications with a residential component. The initial moratorium was imposed due to pending land use code amendments.

The county is currently in the process of developing the Chaffee County Comprehensive Plan, which is expected to be followed with a full review of the county land use code.

The agenda includes consideration of county sponsorship of the 2020 Arkansas River Basin Water Forum, a resolution approving the ambulance licensing and permits for Chaffee County EMS, and a public hearing for a variance to the Chaffee County Onsite Wastewater Treatment System Regulation 43. That variance is related to setback requirements between the tank and the well for a residence owned by Jesse Pfalzgraff at 15853 CR 350.
