Are you in the business of affordable housing, or wanting to learn about it? Two training webinars starting July 6 help outline the details of the Colorado Affordable Housing Developers Guide.

Created by Colorado Housing and Finance Authority (CHFA), the Guide provides support for local for-profit and nonprofit developers, community leaders and advocates seeking to ensure that decent and affordable housing is an intentional and integrated part of their community. To register, click the classes below.

Colorado Affordable Housing Developer’s Guide Case Studies:

9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 6:

Communities across Colorado have successfully built and preserved small-scale affordable rental and for-sale homes. While housing development can seem overwhelming, case studies included in the Colorado Guide highlight successes and keys to success from a range of Colorado communities.

Experts who have completed their own projects will lead the interactive panel, with time for Q&A.

CHFA Small-Scale Affordable Housing Technical Assistance:

9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 17:

A strong affordable housing development team usually includes outside experts with knowledge of housing finance, housing markets and development. Finding specialists with the expertise to take your community’s project from concept to construction can sometimes be a barrier to moving projects forward.

CHFA has created the technical assistance program, which offers qualifying project sponsors pro bono technical help from Colorado housing development experts. Learn how to access program resources and hear how Colorado communities have successfully engaged through the program.
